For what it's worth, I think Germany gave their best at the 2010 World Cup, especially against Australia and Argentina. Despite losing at the semi-finals, the Germans are still one of the best teams around.

or was it delusions of a quirky mind?
From mundane things like the odd pair of dreamcatcher earrings to slightly intellectual book and movie reviews, inspiring travelogues, scrumptious food (and not so scrumptious food!) to happenings worth checking out, poignant issues close to the heart and literally anything remotely appealing, this blog is an outlet to express thy self with a touch of quirkiness.
If this is your first time here, welcome and thanks for stopping by. If you've been here before, enjoy reading my latest scribble!

Agreed. They are the second youngest side in the tournament, with only 3 players above the age of 30 - Klose, Friedrich and Germany's third choice keeper Butt.
Come Euro 2012, this Germany team will be very strong, and also for Brazil 2014.
Some of the players are from the Under 21 team that won the Euro beating England 4-0.
I'm feeling very hopeful of the future. :-)
Gallivanter: Exactly. I think the players are getting better and with good leadership, the team can go far :)
