Da Vinci - The Genius Exhibition @ National Science Center

Like most people, I was never bothered to know much about Leonardo Da Vinci until I read Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code'. Before this, my only knowledge of Da Vinci was that he was gay and he painted the world-famous Mona Lisa.

Dan Brown's book made me do some research on Da Vinci and his controversial 'The Last Supper' painting, and as it turns out, he was not only an artist but also an inventor, scientist, engineer and much more. To learn more about Da Vinci and his work, click here.

If you're an enthusiast, you'd be glad to know there is an exhibition at the National Science Center, which is showcasing Da Vinci's work and probably a history of him. Thanks to Daniel, I've now got two tickets to catch the Da Vinci - The Genius Exhibition :D

Not Your Ordinary Day-At-Work

When I got to work today, I was not even allowed into the office.

Apparently, someone on my floor was suspected to have the H1N1 virus so almost everyone was evacuated. Unfortunately, I was still recovering from fever/sore throat/cough so I was IMMEDIATELY told to go home. I guess since my immune system is weaker, the chances of me getting infected is high.

Sigh...So right now, I'm just lounging in Taipan's Old Taste kopitiam mindlessly surfing the Net. All I can say is it's a good thing I'm not one of those under Quarantine. Otherwise, I think I'll probably die of boredom at home. LOL
